Covid-19 and Queen's College update 7

Dear Parents, Guardians and Queenians

We are aware of the presentation on National TV this morning (29 April 2020) and the confusion and uncertainty it causes. Rest assured that we have the best interests of the students and staff of Queen’s College Boys’ High School at heart, at all times.

An official letter will be sent to parents following the announcement of the Minister of Basic Education. The Minister of Basic Education's final announcement on the way forward for education during the lock-up period has similar implications for all schools accordingly.

We are also currently taking the necessary precautions in anticipating the re-opening of schools.

We are advised that Minister Angie Motshekga will make her announcement on Thursday, 30 April 2020 at 10:00 - it should be streamed live on Channels 192 (SABC 2) and 404. We are hopeful that this announcement does in fact take place at the date and time as provided to us.
