IT is with regret that the death is reported of Qaqambile Mapukata (known at school as 'Q') on Tuesday, 29 November.Qaqambile, who matriculated at Queen's in 2010, was an excellent English student who loved writing and was in the first year of a degree in journalism at Rhodes University.He died while attending initiation school.Sympathy is extended to his nearest and dearest.

Cronje to join the Bulls
NEWS just in is that Old Queenian and former head boy Lionel Cronje has signed to join the Blue Bulls.For the past few seasons Lionel has played for the Stormers, mostly at flyhalf. Early this season he suffered a serious knee injury and had to undergo an operation in Bloemfontein, which put him out of rugby action for the rest of 2011.Apparently he will move to Pretoria at the end of the year.
